Money Wand Pocket Size Currency Detector
1) Magnetic Detection: Simply press and hold the MG button on the side (with your thumb or forefinger) and rub the MG end of the Money Wand in a pen-like rubbing motion, over the silver thread or magnetic area of the note. An audible beep indicates genuine, and no beep indicates fake - easy!
2) UV Detection: (3-point check) Point the UV 'laser' end of the Money Wand on the banknote to see if the paper is bright or dull (bright indicates forgery / dull indicates genuine), then you can highlight any invisible UV ink markings (i.e. "20" written on note) and you can look for the presence of UV flecks on new-£20 notes.
